Description of Event
Come meet new friends and catch-up with old ones. December 5, 2009, the Barony of Starkhafn wishes to invite one and all to enjoy a pre-Yuletide celebration in fair Starkhafn. There will be dancing (with our very own Countess), food, bardic entertainment, more food, more dancing and as always the warm hospitality of Starkhafn.
The theme is Roman Saturnalia.
There will be a table-decorating contest! Bring out your finest for the event.
Father Christmas will be in attendance. He *may* be there all day for photo opportunities, but he will be there early in the day to visit with the children.
Site Open: 11:00AM
Site Closes: 10:00PM
The feast:
1st Course (on table)
Bread
Cheese
Grapes
Olives
Figs
Apricots
Dates
Butter (honey, regular, herb)
We are requesting that people send reservations to the main event steward, information above.
Fees
$18* for those paid members over 13
$9 for those 13-8
Children 8 and under are guests of the Barony.
Please do not forget the non-member surcharge of $3.00 charged to non-members 18 years of age and older. *There will be a $3.00 discount for bringing an unwrapped toy to be donated to “Toys for Tots.” Make checks payable to SCA Inc./Barony of Starkhafn.
